holy shit. this is my second back to the future homage post. i'm sorry. i can't help it. it's meant to be. about an hour ago i was just talking to someone about getting a hoverboard and how the CIA don't want to share this piece of genius with me... then a few minutes ago, i stumbled upon this photographer's work Irina Werning.

her dog's a bit freaky but check her work entitled 'back to the future' [i'm giddy as i type this]. It's an ongoing project as there will be second set of back to the future portraits. im so inspired. time to dig up those old photographs. :)

On a rainy day, whilst buying a present at a shop called 'Strangely Normal', a stranger approached me with a bit of difficulty trying to express himself. Immediately I thought 'oh no, a freak' but alas Mary Mary quite contrary - the man was from Barcelona and spoke little english. He saw my umbrella and wanted to know where I bought it. Luckily, I speak a bit of Spanish and began to unravel the wet mess of a conversation we were having.

Anyway, to cut my story short I ended up giving the man my umbrella. To my surprise today, the man sent me some Spanish DVD's to thank me.

I think that's pretty awesome. :) be kind to thy neighbors kids. ♥

Part of the human condition is the natural desire to communicate or communication. Whether it is through speaking, signing, singing, dancing or whatever form of self expression under the sun, we as humans need this imparting of information. But should communication be defined as such or more of an exchange of ideas? Is it communicating if no one hears it or if the intended recepient of information does not respond? Like this blog for example, this may exist forever without any interpersonal returns, no readers... so is this really communicating or communication?

Communication, as per sender-receiver, is normal human behavioral discourse so is it ABNORMAL if i am doing it alone? So does this make me crazy? most likely..

made it to the Manukay Festival of Arts. Mad cop cars and police officers walking around for something cop-related next door. you just can't shake the presupposing suggestions of trouble making, no nonsense sense of artistic festival etiquette that their presence had... haha, i laugh.. i think this is purely based on my distaste of authority. Pow-pow.

This is a site that i have visited previously. The very talented Sara Coe wanted to come check out the trains so I took her and thought why not snap myself a couple of shots again.

Not advocating cigarette smoking or anything but I do partake in these self harm things. They're quite delightful when they are and absolutely abhorrently disgusting when they are. At the time that i took this photo, well let's just say that they were a pleasant social experience.

The original packet had a photo of cut brain bleeding with shit oozing in the middle. The photos work in that I can't stand the sight of them but whether or not they deter me from lighting one up is another thing.

Temporary remedy. I think I can make big bucks from stickers like these.

Palawan breakdancers. Some mad cool people in this island. These boys were only too happy to smile for the camera. We stumbled upon their practice while walking to a pharmacy called "DRUGHOUSE".. no shit... it was called that or "DRUGMAN".

Waitangi weekend has got to be one of the hottest daze in my history. I can't even recall Manila days where I felt like doing starfish in puddles from the leaky hose garden. Even parnell pools did not offer me the refuge I sought. The sun burnt me crisp. The water evaporated from my sweat beads and still, I was as hot as I was before I leapt through the air and bombed the nearby kids with water.

So my aim for the rest of the week is to find the nearest hydrant and spread the cool on the streets.
